During the journey towards sustainable agriculture and economy with the project #SIRED, Melita&Partners, under the direction of Melita Ymeraga, has been one of the key partners of this project.
Melita & Partners has supported the Sustainable and Inclusive Rural Economic Development (SIRED) project to design interventions for the Development of an Access to Finance Mechanism that will improve access to finance and banking skills of farmers and agribusiness in priority sectors through the construction of their financial capabilities. and making them more attractive as potential customers to banks and other financial service providers, thereby reducing the gap between financial institutions and agribusinesses. Services are guided by a Market Systems Development (MSD) approach.
Last week, together with all the other partners, we celebrated the achievements and the extraordinary impact that this project has had on agribusinesses.
Project #SIRED is implemented by Caritas Switzerland in Kosovo and financed by the Austrian Development Agency, the capital Prishtina and eight other municipalities.
